Police State Amerika: The slow rollout of martial law.

President Obama seeks to federalize America's police departments -

"I want to start moving on constructive actions that are actually going to make a difference,” he said during his evening press conference in Poland when he was asked about the Dallas attack.

Those actions, he said, would  be based on the recommendations of the panel that he picked after the 2014 street riots in Ferguson, Missouri. The panel offered “practical concrete solutions that can reduce — if not eliminate — the problems of racial bias,” Obama said.

The dramatic shootings are an opportunity to push that agenda, Obama said. “If my voice has been true and positive, my hope would be that… [the panel] surfaces problems, it frames them, it allows us to wrestle with these issue and try to come up with practical solutions,” he said.

Obama began touting the panel’s recommendations in March 2015. The report, titled “President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing Report,” was published in May 2015.

The report urges the federal government to federalize police training and practices, via the use of federal lawsuits, grants and threats to cut federal aid. So far, Obama’s deputies have cajoled and sued more than 30 police jurisdictions to adopt federal rules in a slow-motion creation of a national police system, similar to the slow-motion creation of a federal-run health-sector via Obamacare.

Federalization coupled with the ongoing militarization of local police departments is a direct threat to liberty. This will create local forces that are no more answerable to local citizenry than the TSA agents at the local airports. To protect and to serve will be replaced with implementing the guidelines and agendas of the Washington elite.

We can already witness TSA abuses at airports and the setting aside of immigration laws by the border patrol under orders from Obama. We have a Internal Revenue Service that targets Republican organizations and an FBI that admits Hillary Clinton is guilty as well - but refused to recommend prosecution. Do we really want our local police under government control? Seeing the president sack military leaders who didn't drink his koolaid, how long do you think police chiefs, sheriffs, and other police leaders who opposed Washington guidelines would last.

Let's not be the generation who quietly surrendered their liberty.

Unfortunately, the inconsistency of community policing strategies across each jurisdiction has most likely driven the Government of the day towards making such a decision.
    .
The core values of ‘community policing’ cannot be upheld if you have police officers who aren’t able to adhere to localised procedural protocols, across the nation. I think there are a number of drivers that has triggered that decision.
    .
Procedural inconsistency across each jurisdiction must be a nightmare to manage, particularly if there are pockets across the nation that have a higher number of mortality rates, whilst police officers are on duty.
    .
Just imagine the inconsistency within the governance structures of each of those jurisdictions when a civilian has been shot by an officer on duty. Blah ! It hurts my head just to fathom that, given the 50 or so states across the nation.
    .
Disarming those who are using their weapons to commit a crime has to be the primary goal, without triggering unrest amongst law abiding citizens that use their firearms for personal safety reasons. However, liberty rights must be reviewed IF people cannot abide by the relevant legal framework that has been implemented to balance civility and peace amongst civilians.
    .
Community policing strategies aren’t enough to govern an armed society. They, just aren’t.. and being realistic, is to explore alternative methodologies to ensure the safety and wellbeing of not only serving members of the police force, but law abiding citizens, most importantly. Hmm. Do you think that corruption is forthcoming amongst the jurisdictions nationally ? Hence, a federal approach ? One, certainly has to wonder what’s triggered that decision.
    .
Its possible to live in peace & harmony when everyone else is doing so, collectively. Mass murder and gun related violence is horrendous in your nation. It makes me extremely sad to read about the latter in the news to be honest ! Its almost a daily occurrence that I’m unfamiliar with but the prevalence of gun related deaths is astounding.
    .
Something… has to be done ! Because, to stand by and do nothing is a crime within itself. It doesn’t matter if its Obama, Trump or Clinton as someone needs to do something to trigger a recalibration, with a vision to creating a safe and sustainable progressive society, where everyone can live in harmony, irrespective of color, race and/ or creed.

Look, the lousy PC mass media is doing most of the damage by promoting racial tensions in America.

Only a fool would believe that the media is wholly and solely to blame for the unrest, dysfunction and disharmony. The most damage is forthcoming from trigger happy militants who see it fit to play the role of judge, jury & executioner and others who retaliate with such force that blood is upon everyones hands.
        .
Perhaps, the police departments should cease employing ex-military who suffer from PTSD to undertake community policing roles.
        .
Perhaps, regulating firearms might lessen the ongoing risk to innocent bystanders without diminishing the rights of law abiding citizens.
        .
Perhaps, local jurisdictions have proven that they’re incapable of implementing effective community policing strategies to enable a person to comply with their request before being spayed by bullets.
        .
Perhaps, the world as you know it is in fucking decay and all you can do is point the finger at the media ! Pffft. Get outta town… and cue the fucking violins. πŸ˜±πŸ”«

Evidently your incapacity to rationalise a situation holistically, via analysing a multifaceted situation logically, is once again… forthcoming ! πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€

Perhaps, you should take a look at the man in the mirror to understand the epitome of clueless. πŸ–•
